Sms Hospital: Silicosis Treatment Training For Docs In City | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital has started imparting training to its medical officers in districts where the number of silicosis patients is increasing.
Under the state-run Silicosis Prevention and Research Project, a one-day training workshop for medical officers of Primary Health Center and Community Health Center at the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare, began on Wednesday, which is being organised by Silicosis Research Board, Sawai Man Singh Medical College.
“The workshop is being organised in two batches in which technical training on silicosis will be given to medical officers of Karauli and Ajmer districts on Wednesday and Jodhpur and Sirohi districts on Thursday,” said Dr BB Sharma, senior professor (medicine) and head of allergy and respiratory diseases division at SMS Hospital.
