Atru: Advocate Charged With Raping Client | Jaipur News
Kota: A 30-year-old advocate was booked on Wednesday night for allegedly raping his 27-year-old female client for over a year on the pretext of marriage in Atru town of Baran district.
Police conducted a medical examination of the survivor and began further investigation. The survivor, a married woman from Kawai police station area of the district, reached the police station on Wednesday evening and lodged a case of repeated rape against Amit Prajapat, 30, an advocate at a court in Atru, said SHO Atru, Ramvilas Gurjar.
“The woman said she was stuck in a legal case with her in-laws and the advocate was her counsel in the case. She alleged that the advocate raped and sexually exploited her for over a year on the pretext of marriage. The advocate also provided her rented accommodation at two-three places in Atru town, where he raped her, she alleged,” said Gurjar. TNN
