Sneakers: Rathore Blames Kekri Bizman’s Suicide Bid On Cong Mla’s Aides | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Jaipur Rural MP Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Friday blamed the self-immolation attempt by businessman Ashok Gautam outside a deputy SP’s office in Kekri a day earlier on former health minister and Congress MLA Raghu Sharma’s close aides.

At a press conference at the state BJP headquarters in Jaipur, Rathore accused the Ashok Gehlot government of shielding members of a particular community involved in heinous crimes for Congress’s vote bank politics.
The BJP MP showed a video made by the businessman on his birthday. “The mother of the businessman has alleged that he did not try to commit suicide but it was an attempt to murder. Gautam was a partner of Sharma’s colleagues in the mines,” he said.

He added that Ashok Gautam had lodged an FIR against Raghu Sharma’s aide in a case of fraud. “Police acted under pressure and did not do anything. Even after a year, when Gautam did not get his money back, he warned of self-immolation by making a video on Sharma’s birthday,” said Rathore.
“In the video, the businessman is seen asking CM Gehlot and the Congress government to change the police slogan outside police stations to “Netaji ka dar, paise me vishwas” (Fear of politicians, faith in bribe),” said the MP.
Referring to the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl in Jaitaran in Pali, Ratjore said, “Two boys named Sohail and Salman gang-raped a teenage girl, threw her unconscious and fled. Instead of booking the accused under the POCSO Act, police tried to hush it up in due to appeasement.”
