Sports Nutrition: Gehlot Concealed Info On Criminal Cases In Affidavit: Shekhawat |

Jaipur: Union Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Wednesday submitted a complaint letter against CM Ashok Gehlot for hiding information about criminal cases in the nomination papers filled out from Sardarpura, Jodhpur.
The complaint was made to the Chief Election Commissioner’s office in Jaipur. It was signed by Jodhpur-based BJP leader Nathu Ram Rathore.The complaint submitted did have some details of one case related to the land scam registered against Gehlot on September 8, 2015, in Gandhinagar police station, Jaipur.
It even quotes sections like 166, 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, and 120B of the IPC. But the vital information is missing from it. It didn’t give any details of the second complaint. Gehlot filed his nomination on November 6 in Jodhpur.
Following Rathore’s complaint, the district election officer of Jodhpur has sought details from the returning officer after an objection was raised to the nomination of Gehlot from the Sardarpura constituency.
Rathore said that Gehlot had committed a blunder by hiding crucial information pertaining to two criminal cases against him, and his nomination has not been rejected because of his influence. Rathore claimed that information in this regard had already been communicated to the CEC.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has challenged former CM Vasundhara Raje to a public debate on the seven guarantees recently announced by the Congress party. This is the first time Gehlot has directly challenged Raje to a debate. Raje had ridiculed the Congress party’s guarantees during an election rally. Gehlot’s guarantees, which include free laptops for students and English-medium education for all, are seen as a major campaign strategy. Raje’s office did not respond to Gehlot’s challenge.
