Will freebies help Gehlot retain Rajasthan?
Gogunda, a district in Rajasthan known for its rich history, is plagued by poverty and neglect. Despite being a popular tourist destination, basic infrastructure like roads and piped water is lacking in many areas. However, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has implemented various welfare schemes, such as providing smartphones and free ration kits, to alleviate the hardships faced by the poor. While these measures have been criticized as “freebies,” they have provided some relief for those living on the edge of poverty.
