Ssb Chairman Resigns To Contest Polls | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Hariprasad Sharma, chairman of the Staff Selection Board (SSB), has resigned so as to be able to contest the upcoming assembly elections. He resigned on July 23, though his resignation is yet to be officially accepted.
Sharma’s resignation comes at a time when the SSB has finalised the schedule for conducting eight exams. Talking to the media, Sharma said, “I have resigned as I want the next chairman to conduct the exams without delay and on time. My term as chairman is ending on October 8 and by then I would only be able to conduct three exams.”
Responding to a question on whether he has resigned to contest assembly polls, he said, “Yes, I might contest polls.”
