Stepfather: 25-yr-old held for murder of stepfather | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A 25-year-old man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly murdering his stepfather, and is also being investigated as a suspect in a disturbing pattern of previous family deaths.
SHO (Malviya Nagar) Poonam Choudhary said that after days of sustained investigation, police arrested Rishab Sharma on charges of strangulating his stepfather Raju Sharma on September 26.
“He tried to stage the crime as a suicide,” Choudhary said, adding that police also suspect him over the suspicious deaths of Rishab’s mother in 2022 and his brother’s in 2021. TNN

16-year-old Mumbai boy dies by suicide after father takes away his cellphone
A 16-year-old boy died by suicide after his father took away his cellphone due to his addiction to playing games. The boy, whose identity has been kept confidential as he was a minor, lived with his parents in Malwani. Following an argument, the father confiscated the cellphone, which upset the boy. In previous instances, the boy had threatened to harm himself when his parents took away his phone. On November 17, the family discovered the boy hanging from a tin hook in the kitchen, using a dupatta. Despite being rushed to a private hospital, the boy was pronounced dead. The police have recorded statements from the boy’s family members and the body has undergone an autopsy.
