Study Rooms: Dining Halls To Be Study Rooms Also In Govt Hostels |

Jaipur: Social justice and empowerment department secretary Samit Sharma has issued an order giving directions to officials to develop dining halls at all the government hostels (from Class VI to college level) as dining-cum-study rooms for the convenience of students residing there.
He said online IT-based educational activities could also be conducted at these dining-cum-study rooms by installing Smart TVs there. The order states that students should be provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the dining hall.
It also stated that proper arrangements should be made for lights and fans at study rooms; almirahs and racks should be built for keeping books, and students can use study rooms for preparation of competitive exams and doing their school homework.
Earlier, social justice and empowerment minister Tikaram Jully inaugurated the portal for online submission of applications for the 2023-24 academic session of the post-matric scholarship scheme. He said new registrations by educational institutions, recognition of previously registered institutions and updating of course-wise fee structure will be done up to October 31. Online registrations and submission of applications can be done from September 15 to November 7.
