Jaipur: A 17-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling of her residence at Ladnun town in Nagaur district on Wednesday. However, police will investigate why the relatives of the girl bailed her down and directly took her to the hospital without informing the police.
Police said, the girl living in a house at ward no 32 in Ladnun town was taken to the hospital where she was declared dead. “Through hospital authorities we came to know about the incident. Her family members stated that she hanged herself, but they failed to give any reply on why they did not inform us initially,” said a senior officer of Ladnun police station. he postmortem report of the girl also cleared fatal injury on her windpipe which is usually through strangulation.
