Suicide: Six Persons End Lives In Separate Incidents In Barmer And Balotra | Jaipur News
Jaisalmer: Six persons committed suicide in Barmer and Balotra districts in last 12 hours in three separate cases.
In the first case, a man, his wife and elderly mother ended their lives over some dispute by jumping into the water tank at Bhilon ki Dhani in Rathodan village.
Chohatan deputy SP Sukhram Vishnoi said that on Sunday morning at Bhilon ki Dhani, Hitesh Bhil (25) had a fight with his wife and mother and in a fit of anger he jumped into the water tank and committed suicide. Later, his wife Lehron (23) and mother Ansi Devi (50) also jumped into the tank and all died of drowning.
In another case on Saturday late evening, married woman Lakshmi (28) along with her 2-year-old daughter Pooja committed suicide by jumping into the water tank under Pachpadra police station area in Balotra district.
In this regard, Pachpadra deputy SP Bhupendra said that Lakshmi committed suicide due to domestic reasons.
In the third incident on Saturday, Pukhraj (32), a resident of Samdadi, jumped before a goods train and died. The reasons behind suicide are not known and police are investigating the case.

A man died after jumping out of a moving autorickshaw during an argument with his wife in Tirupati. The incident occurred near Lakshmipuram village in Thottambedu mandal. The man, identified as Kotlapati Subramanyam, was inebriated and got into a heated argument with his wife before jumping out of the vehicle. He suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
