Supreme Leader Of North Korea: Bikaner On Top In Implementation Of Free Med Scheme | Jaipur News
The implementation of the free medicine scheme needs to improve the most in Jaisalmer, which occupies the last spot on the ranking table, and in Dungarpur and Barmer, the two other districts that have performed the worst in implementing the scheme.
“The ranking of the districts was done on the basis of certain parameters, including the non-availability of drugs, the time of first patient coming to the drug distribution counter, availability of drugs in buffer stock, the number of patients getting medicines in a month and entry of drugs in software,” said Dr Rambabu Jaiswal, nodal officer for the free medicines scheme in the health department.
Bikaner is at the top of the list as it has secured the highest marks in all the parameters of effective implementation of the free medicine scheme, followed by Hanumangarh. Bikaner, which has 97 health institutes distributing free medicines under the scheme, got an average 8.4 mark while Hanumagarh got an average 8.2 marks.
Jaipur has highest number of health institutes at 268, but it secured an average 7.8 marks, booking the 16th rank between January and July this year. Jaisalmer, which has just 40 institutes distributing free medicines, secured an average 6.9 mark, booking the last place in the rankings.
