Jaipur: JDA razes portion of hotel for flouting approved plan | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: JDA‘s enforcement department has demolished a portion of an under-construction commercial building on the main Gopalpura Bypass Road on Friday.
Officials said the owners were constructing a hotel which did not comply with the sanctioned plan.
“Contrary to the approved map, the owners constructed a 10/29 feet portion on one side, about another 8/10 feet on the rear side. On Tuesday, we had demolished these illegal portions and warned the owner not to construct any portions beyond what is mentioned on the plan,” said Raghuveer Saini, the chief of the enforcement department of JDA. The civic body will now slap recovery notices and recover the expenses incurred during the demolition job from the owners.
Meanwhile, the enforcement department sealed another commercial building on Hawa Sadak Main Road near the Ram Mandir under the jurisdiction of Zone 5. Officials said actions had been taken against the four-storey building for non-compliances of construction bylaws.
Despite reminders, the owners did not stop construction forcing JDA officials to seal the building on Friday .
