PFI: 2 Pfi Members Held For Arms Training Camps | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) said on Friday that it has arrested two alleged members of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI) on charge of organising weapons training camps in Kota and Jaipur.
The NIA stated that it arrested Vajid Ali and Mubarak Ali, both residents of Kota. The agency claimed that investigations revealed that other accused, Mohammad Ashif, Sadiq Sarraf, and Mohammad Sohail, all trained cadres and members of the PFI, were involved in an alleged criminal conspiracy.
“Their conspiracy and activities included the recruitment of members and cadres to the PFI for the purpose of committing violent acts with the objective of instilling fear among the general public,” the statement said, adding that these acts were also extended to inciting religious hatred and alleged radicalisation of youths, and organising training camps and fundraising for the commission of terrorist acts.In pursuance of the conspiracy, the accused were radicalising youth to commit unlawful activities and terrorist acts in various parts of India, including Rajasthan. tnn

DMC Act violated, alleges BJP; mayor rejects claim
BJP councillors in Delhi have accused the AAP-led Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) of approving projects worth Rs 1,500 crore in an “unconstitutional manner” and in violation of the Delhi Municipal Corporation (DMC) Act. The councillors claim that the projects were passed without proper discussion and without the involvement of the standing committee, as required by the DMC Act. The MCD, however, argues that the proposals were approved in accordance with the law. The matter is expected to be taken to court.

Gogi gang member arrested in extortion case
A gangster from the Gogi Gang in Delhi has been arrested for attempting to extort Rs 1 crore from a businessman. The accused, along with his associates, fired multiple rounds at the victim’s house and left threatening notes. The police formed a team to investigate the incident and successfully apprehended the gangster. The accused had previously associated with another gangster in 2020.
