Two groups of different communities clashed at Champa Nagar in Purnia district of Bihar on Saturday night over an Instagram post on the Israel-Hamas war. On Sunday morning, one group burned tyres on the road, blocked traffic and allegedly forced the market in the area to close. A man was also injured in the incident.
Forces from five police stations rushed to the spot and pacified the mob. Sadar SDPO Pushkar Kumar said one youth had been posting messages on the war on his social media handle for last three days.
