Ecology: Stray Dog Attacks Two Girls, School Director In Jaisalmer | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: A stray dog bit two girls and the director of a private school when it entered the premises on Thursday afternoon at Dholiya village in Lathi area of the district. All the three injured were taken to Lathi Government Hospital, from where one of the seriously injured girl, Tamanna Mahipal was referred to Jodhpur after the first aid, while the other girl and director are undergoing treatment in Lathi.
Sources said, a mad dog entered Nirmal Vidya Mandir in Dholiya village and attacked Tamanna Vishnoi (5) and Tamanna Mahipal (6).The dog bit and injured them seriously. When school director Dharmendra Choudhary came to rescue the children from the mad dog, the stray dog attacked him also, leading to serious injuring him. TNN

Cow dies after falling into drain, stray dogs kill calf
A pregnant cow fell into a storm water drain in Vadavalli, Coimbatore and got trapped. It gave birth before passing away, but the calf was bitten by stray dogs and also died. The trapped animals were later discovered by locals who informed the authorities. The Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services personnel arrived at the scene and pulled the carcasses out of the drain with ropes. The carcasses were then buried by the corporation staff.
