Jaipur: Rakhi Gautam was appointed as the new state Mahila Congress president on Monday. The 40-year-old from Kota has been a member of the Kota Municipal Council twice ( 2008-2013 and 2013-2019) and was the Congress candidate from Kota South in the last assembly polls. She had held the post of PCC secretary and was in charge of Jhalawar and is currently a PCC general secretary and in charge of Sawai Madhopur, according to party sources. tnn
