After Class 10 online exam due to Covid, this was 1st offline experience for Class 12 students | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: This was the first board exam experience for students who cleared class 12 under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) this year. Most of the students said they performed better due to offline examinations.
“This was the first time I sat for board exams and now I am disappointed with how I scored in class 10. With the kind of practice I put in this year, I am sure that I would’ve scored better then,” said Ahimsa Jain of St Xavier’s School, C-Scheme. Shreshtha Maheshwari from DPS Bhakrota who scored 94.6% in Humanities said the lockdown helped her choose her subject in class 11 and activities she took up during lockdown are now set to become her major for higher studies. “I was interested in arts so during lockdown, I tried different types of art form and in class 11, I took fine arts as a subject. In the past two years, I developed a great interest in it and now I will be studying interior designing in Mumbai,” she said.
“During class 10 finals there was lockdown. This year we realised what board exams are. In my pre-boards, I did not score high, but later I changed my study pattern. With three months , I was able to score 95.6% in science,” said Nehanshu Bugaliya, from DPS Bhakrota.
