Jaipur: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken control of the investigation into the murder of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. The Rajasthan Police has also shared a list of specialized teams to collaborate with the central agency in both investigating the case and apprehending the absconding suspects.
The NIA along with the Rajasthan Police is expected to thoroughly probe the case and arrest the fugitives.To ensure a smooth transition of the investigation, the NIA sought information on officers involved in this case and those with prior experience in matters related to the gangs.
ADGP (Crime) Dinesh M N has provided a list of officers with expertise in the ongoing investigation and past encounters with the Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara gang. This list includes officers who have played crucial roles in the case thus far. Moreover, the NIA has reached out to the Jaipur police to support the investigation.
The NIA is likely to delve deeper into the circumstances leading to Gogamedi’s murder.

The Rajasthan police arrested the gunmen who shot dead Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena Chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi in Jaipur. Joint teams of Rajasthan police’s SIT and Delhi police’s special cell apprehended the two shooters, Nitin Fauji and Rohit Singh Rathore, at a hideout near Chandigarh. They are being brought to Jaipur for detailed interrogation.
