‘early Preparations, Focus On Maths Key To Success’ | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Bharatpur boy Prabhav Khandelwal, prepared for JEE Advanced from Kota and secured All India Rank 6, making him the state topper, according to information received till the filing of this copy. Khandelwal said that his secret was early preparations and focus on mathematics.
He now wants to pursue B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Bombay. Prior to this, her secured an All India Rank 61 in JEE Main 2023.
“Kota is a city of dreams, where everyone works hard to turn dreams into reality. Coming to Kota has significantly strengthened my self-confidence. The sooner the preparation for JEE starts, the better it is for the students. I dedicated most time to Mathematics among all three subjects because it requires more practice,” said Khandelwal.
He said that students must stay calm and focused while studying, as it makes the preparation journey smooth and ensures that students do not make silly mistakes in the examination.
He scored 97% in his class 12 exams this year. He secured 98.2% in his Class 10 exams.
Jhunjhunu boy bags 26th rank: Mayank Soni, from Seethal Village in Jhunjhunu district, with a score of 309/360 secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 26 in JEE Advanced, the results for which were released on Sunday.
Soni said that he scored highest in Physics, followed by Chemistry and Mathematics. He wants to pursue Computer Science from IIT Bombay. He said that he wants to become an engineer but will also keep exploring other opportunities.
“My preparation strategy involved daily homework, consistent revision, and practising the previous year’s question papers. Coaching provided continuous doubt-solving sessions and regular counselling to help me manage stress effectively. My parents played a vital role in supporting and motivating me throughout,” he said.
When asked about maintaining personal well-being, Soni said that he viewed the JEE as just an entrance exam, allowing him to stay focused without succumbing to excessive pressure.
“My parents played an active role in supporting me by showing me motivational videos and my favourite hobby was playing board games with them. My mother has been my biggest support system,” said Soni.
