Rajasthan: Couple ends life on railway tracks, girl’s family alleges abduction | Jaipur News

ALWAR: A 23-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl ended their lives by jumping before a moving train at Goth village on Rajgarh-Bandkui route on Thursday. The girl’s family said they had registered a case against the man at Mahwa police station.
According to police, the mutilated bodies of the man identified as Lokesh Sain and the girl, whose identity was not revealed, were found on railway tracks at Goth village.
“Initial reports suggested that both were in love and had eloped together some days ago. However, the father of the girl alleged that his daughter was kidnapped by Sain few days ago and they had reported the matter before Mahwa police,” said an officer of Rajgarh police station of Alwar.
After the death, the parents of the girl were not willing to go for post-mortem of their daughter. “Parents of the girl alleged that Sain had kidnapped their daughter three days ago and they had complained about it to Mahwa police station but they did not take action against the accused. Had police arrested the accused, the life of their daughter would have been saved,” one of the relatives of the girl said.
