Jda: Jda Floats Tender To ‘upgrade’ Technology Of Kalwar Road Stp | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The JDA has floated a tender for upgrading the technology, as per the guidelines of the National Green Tribunal, of the 30 MLD Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) at Kalwar Road in Gajadharpura.
“In the first phase—for which the tender has been floated—we are going to change the STP technology from the existing ASP to the latest SBR,” said a senior JDA official. The project cost would be around Rs 59.17 crore, the official said. The contractor would have to finish the project within 15 months and would also have to operate and maintain the technology for the next 10 years.
In the second phase, JDA would upgrade the capacity of the STP from 30 MLD to at least 45 MLD or even 60 MLD, another official said.
“This year, our focus is on upgrading and redeveloping the existing infrastructure. This technology upgrade at Gajadharpura STP is the first step forward,” the official said. tnn
