Teen: Teen With Muscle Ailment Scores 83% In Class 10, Thanks His Friend | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Jainam Chawda, a student of Cambridge Court High School who has been suffering from muscular dystrophy since childhood, scored 83.3% in Class 10 CBSE finals. This is a medical condition where a person’s muscles become weaker from the time they are born.
Jainam’s struggle started when he was diagnosed suffering from the incurable, prolonged disease at the age of seven. Though he continued going to school for some time, from class 3 onwards, his movement with crutches shifted to movement with wheelchair. Despite the illness, he continued to go to school and wrote his exams without a writer.
His teachers said he even refused to use extra time given to students in special cases.
“His will power strengthened by the support of his parents, sister, school, friends and teachers made him sit for the CBSE exam. Jainam shared the credit of his success to Hardik Sawlani, his childhood friend of class I, who always remained by his side. His hard work and success story has proved that when there is a will, there is a way and when there is hard work along with the will, there is success,” Lata Rawat, mentor of Cambridge Court Group.
