No respite from cold wave conditions in Rajasthan, Fatehpur shivers at -3.7 degrees Celsius | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: There was no respite from the shivering cold conditions for the third consecutive day on Monday as most places in Rajasthan witnessed a further dip in mercury.
Fatehpur remained the coldest in the state with a minimum temperature of minus 3.7 °C recorded, said the Met office. The cold wave was attributed to active northerly winds. The Met office said there may be a minor rise in temperatures from Wednesday.
Jaipur had another chilly morning with a minimum temperature of 4.7 °C. Fatehpur was followed by Churu with a minimum temperature of minus 2.5 °C recorded, Sikar minus 2 °C, Karauli minus 1.4 °C, and Bhilwara and Alwar 0 °C each.
