Third Rejig In Two Weeks: 14 Ips Officers Shifted, Kumar Replaced | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The Rajasthan government reshuffled 14 IPS officers on Saturday in its third rejig in just over two weeks, including replacing the suspended Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for Gangapur City, Sushil Kumar. Devendra Kumar Bishnoi has been transferred from SP traffic in PHQ to take over the role of OSD for the recently announced district of Gangapur City, replacing Kumar.
The state government suspended Kumar and IAS officer Girdhar on Tuesday after their names were linked to a violent altercation with workers at a restaurant in Ajmer. Three senior IGPs have been appointed as police OSDs in various divisions. IGP Raghvendra Suhasaa from the Railways has been appointed as OSD for the Pali division. Similarly, IGP S Parimala from the Personnel department has been assigned as OSD for Banswara, while IGP Satyendra Singh from the Special Operations Group (SOG) will assume the responsibilities of OSD for the Sikar division.
In a similar move, DCP Jaipur-West Vandita Rana and SP Dausa Sanjeev Nain will exchange their positions. According to the Department of Personnel (DoP) order, Malini Agarwal has been reassigned from ADGP prison to training
ADGP recruitment board Sachin Mittal has been given the additional responsibility of cybercrime within PHQ.
Furthermore, the additional charge of cybercrime has been transferred from ADGP technical services VK Singh to Mittal.
IGP Gaurav Shrivastava has been transferred from the crime branch to Law and Order, while IG Law and Order Rajendra Singh has been reassigned to the RAC (Rajasthan Armed Constabulary). DIG Sameer Kumar Singh, who was previously posted in Ajmer ACB, has been appointed as the principal of the police training centre (PTC) in Ajmer’s Kishangarh. Also, OSD Dudu Rajendra Kumar and OSD Anupgarh Pooja Awana will swap their respective positions. tnn
