Those Who Put Up Illegal Hoardings To Face Firs | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Mahendra Soni, commissioner Jaipur Municipal Corporation Greater, on Friday conducted a review meeting to take stock of preparations for ‘Invest Rajasthan Summit’ to be held on October 7-8 this year.
During the review meeting, the commissioner said that FIRs should be registered against those who throw garbage, debris and put-up illegal hoardings, banners and posters in the city.
In the past few weeks, JMC Greater has been running a campaign to remove illegal boards and hoardings in the city as part of beautification work.
The commissioner also enquired about ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme and efforts being made to stop the spread of lumpy skin disease in cows.
Instructing officers, Soni said, “Invest Rajasthan Summit is an international event for which work should be done consciously by doing micro planning. All aspects like beautification of Jaipur city, proper cleanliness, maintenance of road, recarpeting, maintenance of median, signboards, footpath should be done properly.”
He further instructed officials to ensure proper maintenance of lighting on roads and electric cable or junction box, along with trees and plants.
Keeping in mind the upcoming students’ union elections, Soni said that future leaders of the country should not put up illegal hoardings, banners and posters and fulfill their civic duty of keeping the city clean.
The commissioner on Friday also gave first online approval of a mobile tower in Jaipur city. The letter of acceptance was issued to Deepak Verma, the representative of mobile tower company M/s Indus Tower Pvt Ltd, by the JMC-G commissioner.
