Total Assets: Cong Mla Anjana Richest Candidate | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Congress MLA and cabinet minister Udailal Anjana has declared total assets amounting Rs 122.9 crore in his affidavit, which is believed to be highest among all the ministers, MLAs, and candidates.
Anjana has declared movable assets worth Rs 69.63 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 53.30 crore in his affidavit. He is a candidate from Nimbhahera assembly constituency.
Anjana is followed by Deeg-Kumher MLA and cabinet minister Vishvendra Singh, who has declared total assets amounting to Rs 109.05 crore.Singh has declared movable assets worth Rs 11.43 crore and immovable assets worth 97.62 crore. Bikaner East legislator Siddhi Kumari with total assets amounting to Rs 102.2 crore is the thirdrichest candidate. Kumari has declared movable assets worth Rs 16.52 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 85.75 crore.
Meanwhile, a total of 240 nominations have been rejected by the election commission. In all, nominations of 2365 candidates were found to be valid.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra accused the BJP-led Centre of giving away the country’s assets to big industrialists. Speaking at an election rally in Balod district, Chhattisgarh, she emphasized the need for a caste census to ensure equal representation and welfare policies for all sections of society. Gandhi Vadra criticized the government for spending billions on aircraft and a new Parliament building while ignoring the plight of farmers. She also highlighted the failure to fulfill promises of job creation and doubling farmers’ income, and the negative impact of demonetization and GST on small businesses.
