Police said that cops who trace 60 kids who are less than 18-years of age, within a year, and 25 kids who are under 14 years of age in same year will be eligible for the promotion. Also a DGP disc will be given to cops who trace 20 kids in a year.
Police said that new initiative will help the Rajasthan police will in tracking down missing kids.
“There are many cops who work tirelessly in tracking down missing kids. Their efforts are also needed to be recognised,” an official.
Asper police, every year several kids go missing from their houses, tracking them also remains a major issue for the local police. Police said that members of the team who help search missing kids would also be rewarded.
The Rajasthan police said that these benefits will be given only for finding kids who have been convicted in any major crime in past the three years. “The new policy will also help bring a sense of assurance amongst cops that their works is being recognised,” said a police officer.
