Traffic Duties To Be Allocated Digitally To Constables From July 1 | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The city police will use a software to allocate traffic points to traffic constables from July 1 as a measure to introduce transparency into the process. Newly appointed additional commissioner of police, traffic and administration Rahul Prakash said that the software will enable Jaipur police to allocate duties with fairness.
“Constables will be able to witness the duty assignments process thus making it more transparent,” Prakash said.
Talking to TOI, Prakash outlined his priorities and emphasised easing congestion by removing bottlenecks over strict enforcement measures. “Our focus would be to enhance the seamless flow of vehicular traffic to ensure there are no jams. We will identify bottlenecks contributing to congestions and remove them,” he said.
Several arterial roads of the city have been grappling with traffic congestion poses a challenge to the traffic police.
“We need to first identify challenges that impede traffic flow like encroachments, flaws in designs etc and then efforts would be made to remove those bottlenecks,” he said. TNN
