Treatment: Sms Hosp Gears Up To Treat Burn Injuries During Diwali | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital is making special arrangements for treatment of patients from November 10-13, expecting influx of burn cases during Diwali. It has issued directions to departments like burn and plastic surgery, ophthalmology, neurosurgery and anaesthesia to ensure round the clock deployment of one assistant professor and senior resident of the respective departments for four days in emergency unit.
A senior health department official said, “Directions have been issued by medical superintendent Dr Achal Sharma in which he further instructed the heads of all ophthalmology, burn and plastic surgery, neurosurgery and anaesthesia department to ensure availability of medicines, and remain alert during the next four days.”
The official said that the arrangements have been made to provide immediate relief to the patients coming with burn injuries and other trauma during Diwali.
The SMS Hospital appealed to the people to take necessary precaution and keep them safe while using firecrackers. The ambulances run by the state government play key role in ensuring timely treatment of patients. For the purpose, the ambulances will be dynamically deployed. TNN
