Truck Driver: Driver Charred In Truck, Murder Case Lodged | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A day after charred body of a truck driver was found in the fire-engulfed truck near Sridungagarh of Bikaner district, police have registered a case of murder against deceased’s uncle on Saturday. They suspect that his missing uncle could be behind the murder.
Police said that the control room was informed about a fire-engulfed truck near Sridungargarh on Friday. When police reached the spot, they found a charred body which was identified as one Sushil.
“Though it appeared to be a normal accident. However, some portions of truck cabin were intact which created doubt in our minds. On the basis of registration number of the truck, we contacted the owner of the truck. He said that Sushil along with his uncle was going to Assam with the truck carrying Bikaneri Bhujiya and other snacks,” said a senior police officer of Sridungargarh police station area on Saturday.
Thus, police confirmed that there was another person in the truck. “We have received only one body from the truck despite clear presence of a second person who is missing. This establishes the fact that the mishap was not an accident. Also, the CCTV footage we got from the godown shows two persons sitting in the truck,” the officer added. tnn
