UDAIPUR: After the announcement of hockey academy for tribal kids, Udaipur will soon get an international-level blue astro turf for plying hockey at the Mohanlal Sukhadia University.
This will be the fourth astro turf in state which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 5.5 crore.
Vice-chancellor Amrika Singh has asked sports committee to prepare a project report in order to commence the construction at the earliest. The budget for this project will be procured under Khelo India and it is expected to be completed in 18 months.
