Cops make list of Udaipur paper leak suspects’ properties | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: Police have compiled a list of properties of Udaipur paper leak suspects Bhupendra Saran and Suresh Dhaka and shared the findings with the home department.
Sources informed TOI that the authorities are mulling over provisions to attach the properties of suspects.
Police said Saran owns plots at Rajni Vihar area in Karni Vihar, Bagru and Chitrakoot besides owning a steel firm.
Police said Dhaka also has a lot of properties scattered across many places.
Both Saran and Dhaka are the two main accused in the senior teacher recruitment exam paper leak. “We had arrested Suresh Kumar Vishnoi from the bus in Udaipur wherein he had distributed exam papers to as many as 46 students. Vishnoi said both Dhaka and Saran helped him procure the paper before the exam,” the official said.
Both Saran and Dhaka have been on the run since December 24. As per officials, the accused had received the information of the police action and fled from Jaipur.
“Besides cracking down on the ‘cheating bus’, we had also swooped down on a hotel in Udaipur where some accused were showed exam papers. Both Saran and Dhaka got the whiff of the police action and fled from Jaipur,” an official said.
Police have been trying to find out how Dhaka and Saran got hold of the question paper before the exam. “The exam papers were to be distributed on the morning of December 24. But the accused had already received the question paper a night before the exam on WhatsApp. This indicates that someone who was responsible for the exam papers had clicked photos of the questions and sent them to Saran and Dhaka,” the official added.
Udaipur police has constituted four teams to track down Saran and Dhaka. The sources said that they were planning to get a red-corner notice against the duo. “We need passport details of the two accused for the notice,” the official said.
