Gudha & BJP MLA suspended after row
Following the bedlam, Dhariwal proposed the suspension of both Gudha and BJP MLA Madan Dilawar for their “unruly behaviour”. The proposal was subsequently passed by the House, marking a rare move as a governing party MLA was suspended along with an opposition member for the remainder of the current assembly’s term.
Dhariwal accused Gudha of attempting to physically harm him and emphasised the significance of the marshals’ timely intervention to prevent a “big incident”. Dhariwal described Gudha’s conduct as “shameful and unparliamentary”. Regarding Dilawar, the minister said the BJP MLA had advanced towards him with an intent to attack.

Rajasthan’s sacked Minister Rajendra Gudha forcibly removed from Assembly for showcasing ‘Red Diary’
When the assembly reconvened, BJP MLAs continued their protest. The assembly was adjourned until August 2, concluding the day’s proceedings amid the prevailing pandemonium.
Outside the assembly, Gudha addressed the media, alleging that he had been manhandled by Congress MLAs within the state assembly. “The red diary will lead Gehlot to jail. It will expose the chief minister. I was blocked from tabling the red diary in the assembly today. I was thrashed. Congress MLAs and ministers manhandled me. I was asked to apologise, but I will not. Why should I apologise? I simply spoke the truth about atrocities on women in the state,” he said.

Congress leaders started fighting with me: Rajendra Singh Gudha
Gudha was the minister of state for Sainik Kalyan, home guard and civil defence, Panchayati Raj, and rural development. He was dismissed Friday evening, shortly after he criticised the Gehlot government’s handling of law and order and women’s safety issues during the assembly session when Congress members raised concerns about the parading of naked women in strife-torn Manipur.
Leader of the Opposition, Rajendra Rathore, demanded that the red diary be discussed openly in the assembly. The BJP leader criticized the abrupt sacking of Gudha during the ongoing assembly session, stating that such matters should have been deliberated within the House in accordance with tradition. Rathore accused Congress MLA Rafeek Khan of manhandling and snatching the diary from Gudha’s hands and demanded that the speaker seize it from him.
Refuting the allegations, Khan claimed that he intervened to protect minister Dhariwal from potential harm, as he sensed Gudha’s aggressive intentions. He denied any knowledge of the red diary.
