Uniformity must in civil services: Rajasthan assembly speaker CP Joshi | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Assembly speaker C P Joshi said that uniformity in the administrative services of all the states in the country is necessary to establish quality governance in the country.
As a chief guest, Joshi was addressing the concluding session of the 16th session of the All-India State Civil and Administrative Service Federation held at RAS Club on Saturday. He said, “Administrative officers of all the states have the same responsibilities, so it is necessary that the rules for them should be uniform in the country,”
Earlier in the session, education minister B D Kalla said that the state administrative service is the backbone of the administration and base of good governance. He called the contributions of the state administrative service important in realizing the dream of chief minister Ashok Gehlot in making Rajasthan a ‘Model State’ and for the planned development.
He said, “The administrative officers of the state get familiar with public welfare schemes, administrative activities in other states and share administrative systems, skills and challenges with each other through the activities being carried out under the federation.”
