Upset With Wife, Dad, Kids Consume Poison Live On Fb, Man Dies | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Upset with extra-martial affair of his wife, a 30-year-old man first administered poisonous substance to his 12-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son and then consumed it himself in Hanumangarh on Monday. Since he was live on Facebook, the locals reached the spot and took the three to the hospital. The man died on Tuesday morning, while his two children are battling for life.
According to police, the man identified as Rajkumar Giri along with his daughter Munmun and Pankaj went to his farm situated at Panditwali village. “The man went on the Facebook live and stated that his wife Sharda and a man identified as Rakesh Meghwal are in an extra martial relationship for some years. He had stated that he had complained about it to Hans Raj, his brother-in-law, but nobody helped. Thus, he has no option left other than committing suicide with his children,” Rajkumar said on the Facebook live on Monday.
“Before administering celphos poison to his son and daughter, he asked them to say final good bye to their mother. Since some people of his village saw this Facebook live, they intimated us and also rushed to his farm. All the three were admitted to the hospital where Rajkumar died on Tuesday,” said Vijay Meena, station house officer, Pilibanga police station.
The condition of the two children was critical and were rushed to government hospital at Hanumangarh. “The doctors have maintained that next 72 hours for the children are critical. They have managed to flush out the poison and toxins out of their body,” Meena said.
