Urban Development: Dhariwal Inaugurates Devpt Projects In Kota | Jaipur News

Kota: Urban Development and Housing (UDH) minister and MLA from Kota North, Shanti Dhariwal, on Tuesday unveiled development projects including two water filter plants of 50 and 70 MLD, parking space, link road, and statue of Indira Gandhi.
Dhariwal inaugurated a multi-level parking constructed for Rs 3 crore by UIT at Sirpur Vikas Bhawan. The G+2 parking will accommodate around 250 two-wheelers in busy markets at Subhash Circle, Sripura, Indira Market, Subzi Mandi and nearby areas.
He also unveiled a link road constructed at cost of Rs 1.80 crore between Commerce College and Rajiv Gandhi Nagar for the public.
In a sequence of inaugurals at Gumanpura area, the minister got veteran Congress leader Naresh Vijayvergiya to inaugurate an 11-metre high statue of iron Lady Indira Gandhi, made of gunmetal at a cost of Rs 3 crore.

The park, which includes a cable bridge and a replica of Kondapalli elephant ambari, was developed with funds from the 14th finance commission and the VMC general fund. The renovation took five months to complete.
Indira Gandhi Canal & six other dams to get advance technology
The Rajasthan State Water Informatic Centre plans to equip the Indira Gandhi Canal, Parvati Dam, Som Kamla Amba Dam, and Chapi Dam with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) technology. Currently, two canal systems and six dams in Rajasthan already have this technology. SCADA technology provides real-time information on water levels, monitors inflow and outflow, and helps in flood management. The Rajasthan government is also digitizing historical data and plans to make it available on their portal within the next two months.
