VC Missing: Ru Students Put Up Posters Of ‘vc Missing’ In Protest | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Raising their voice over lack of proper facilities in university and college campuses, students of RU on Tuesday took out a protest march and put up posters at various places that said the vice-chancellor was “missing.”

Student marched to the vice-chancellor’s secretariat where they raised slogans. They later submitted a memorandum of demands to the chief proctor and warned that if the authorities do not act, the students would launch a bigger protest.
Harphool Chowdhary, a student leader, said, “The vice chancellor of the university has distanced himself from students. It has been months since the VC communicated with students or did anything to solve their problems. That is why we tried to find the VC by putting up posters at various places in the university as part of our protest.”

The students are demanding installation of a sanitary napkin vending machine in the girls’ hostel of RU, installation of commercial washing machines in all RU hostels, 24×7 CCTV surveillance in the campus.
