Vidyadhar Nagar: Water Employees Stage Protest At Vidyadhar Nagar | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Rajasthan Water Employees Union (RWEU) staged a protest at the Vidyadhar Nagar divisional office of PHED on Monday to press for its 17-point charter of demand.
“We are making these demands for a long time. Every time we stage a protest the management promises to accept our demands. But no positive steps are taken afterwards,” said RWEU’s state spokesperson Babulal Sharma.
The organisation’s demands include problems related to the pension of retired employees. RWEU members also alleged that several pumphouses of PHED are lying in a dilapidated condition with no proper light and sheds.
