Jaipur: In a case related to the cancellation of booking and not giving possession of flat, RERA member Salwinder Singh Sohata ordered the builder to return the amount with interest and imposed a penalty of Rs 50,000.
Manoj Jain, director of Bloom Suppliers Company, filed a complaint against Shivshakti Real Home Pvt Ltd in 2021. His counsel Siddharth Jain Mutha said that Jain had entered into a contract for a flat in project Shankara Residency in 2014 and paid Rs 18.25 lakh but the real estate firm cancelled the booking in 2021 saying the full payment had not been made.
