Jaipur: From the wee hours of Sunday, Jaipur traffic police would start diverting traffic moving in between Gandhi Circle and Rajasthan College stretch of the JLN Marg to facilitate the process of poll counting.
According to a release issued by the traffic department, traffic plying towards Rajasthan College from Gandhi Circle would be diverted towards Jhalana Bypass and towards Gandhi Nagar Tiraha on Tonk Road.In case, Jhalana Bypass and the stretch between Gandhi Circle and Tonk Road get congested, traffic would be diverted from JDA Circle towards Rambagh Circle and Shanti Path.
“The stretch between Gandhi Circle and Tonk Road would be converted into a one-way road. Traffic from Tonk Road moving towards Gandhi Circle would have to reach JLN Marg either through Gopalpura Bypass Road or through the Rambagh Circle,” said an official.
Similarly, vehicles coming from OTS Chouraia towards Gandhi Circle would have to take a left turn from OTS Crossing towards Gopalpura Bypass to reach Tonk Road. Police would also divert traffic from Royalty Tiraha towards Jhalana Bypass. TNN
