Voter List: Naib-tehsildar In Pokhran Suspended Over Voter List | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: After finding that the complaints regarding addition and deletion of names in the voter list for the Assembly General Elections 2023 to be true, district election officer Ashish Gupta, keeping in view the serious indiscipline in the work related to the voter list, issued orders to suspend naib tehsildar Madho Singh of sub-divisional office, Pokhran with immediate effect.
District election officer Gupta said that under the process of adding, deleting and purifying names in the voter list for the Assembly polls, a complaint was filed against naib tehsildar Madho Singh, working in the electoral registration office, Pokhran, for influencing the purification process.
He said that the work of revising the voter list under the assembly elections is a very important work and the allegations against the naib tehsildar in this work are indicative of serious indiscipline.
The DEO said that during the suspension period, Singh will be posted in the district collector office, Jaisalmer where attendance will have to be registered every day. During the period of suspension, subsistence allowance will be payable as per rules.
