Jaipur: A special team of the crime branch on Tuesday arrested one of the city’s most wanted chain snatchers after he kept evading cops for several months.
A team led by sub-inspector Purshottam Sharma and constable Krishnapal arrested Sumer Singh alias Pintu Bawariya from Mansarovar. Bawariya is a history-sheeter of Harmada police station and is wanted in 19 cases of chain snatching across the city.
“The special teams of the crime branch were searching for the accused for the past several days. He frequently changed his whereabouts to trick cops,” an official said. tnn
