“Every year, winds are a downer as the speed was not enough to fly kites. However, today it was beyond expectation. At many instances, kites were uncontrollable due to heavy wind velocity,” said Ankit Bansal, an IT professional who is a native of Jaipur and works in Bengaluru in an IT company. He was seen flying kites at his ancestral home situated at Hanuman Ji Ka Raasta in the Walled City.

Many people stood on their terraces to enjoy the delicious food being served on the terrace, foot-tapping music and live commentary.
“I snapped many kites today as the winds blew well,” said Charu Trivedi, a Shyam Nagar resident who flew flying kites with her husband.
