The dates of closing of Yamunotri and Badrinath shrines for the six-month winter break were announced, as per tradition, on Vijayadashmi (Dussehra) on Tuesday. The priests announced that the portals of Yamunotri will close at 11:57 am on November 15, while the doors of Badrinath Dham will close at 3:33 pm on November 18.
