Jaipur: The Ramganj police station arrested a 51-year-old woman for allegedly abducting a two-year-old girl with the purpose of forcing her into begging.
Police identified the accused as Shayra Bano, a native of Kacchi Basti under the Galta Gate police station area. The accused kidnapped the minor while she was playing nearby.
“The primary investigation has revealed that she forced the minor girl to come with her and took an e-rickshaw from the Ramganj Chauper, and from there she went to a bus stand on the Delhi road.To conceal the girl’s identity, the woman put a t-shirt on the girl. She also booked a ticket for Farquabad,” said an official. Police said that the woman was suspected of being involved in some kind of a racket and therefore kidnapped the girl.TNN

A 30-month-old girl became the youngest cadaver heart donor at AIIMS after her parents decided to donate her organs following her brain death. The girl and her mother sustained severe injuries, but are now out of danger. The accused also consumed poison and is currently admitted to the hospital. The man had been involved in two murder cases in the past and was recently out on bail. He will be arrested after his discharge from the hospital.
