Woman Swept Away In Parvan River In Baran | Jaipur News

KOTA: A 23-year-old woman was swept away by the flooding waters of Parvan river after the motorbike she was riding with her husband slipped while crossing the overflowing bridge on Rajasthan-Madhya Pradesh border adjoining Bapcha police station in Baran district on Tuesday afternoon. A search operation by Rajasthan and MP rescue squads was launched immediately after the incident but could not rescue her.
Rajpal (25), a resident of a village in Bapcha police station area, was returning home with his wife Priti from her in-laws’ house in a village in MP on a motorbike, police said, adding that while the couple was crossing an overflowing bridge over Parvan river, the bike slipped and the woman was swept away into flooding waters, Bapcha SHO Nand Singh said.
The husband was pulled out safe, but the wife could not be saved, he added.
