Jaipur: A decomposed body of an unidentified woman was recovered from a hill in Amber on Thursday. Amber police station house officer (SHO) Nand Lal said that the body appears to be at least three days old.
As per the local police, a person was walking through the area when he spotted a stench coming from a secluded area on the hill.
The man alerted the police and they discovered the woman’s body in the bushes. “It appears that the deceased was a labourer. We have not found any major injuries on the body yet because it was decomposed. Only a post-mortem report (PMR) will reveal the reasons behind her death,” an official added. TNN
