Work Boycott: Nurses Begin Work Boycott For 2 Hrs Daily | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Nurses across the state demonstrated against the state government on Wednesday over non-fulfilment of their 11 demands, including hike in salaries, separate cadre, and change in designations.
Nurses boycotted work for two hours in the morning, putting patients in trouble, at all state government hospitals and health centres. Nurses’ associations said that from now on every day till August 24, nurses will boycott work for two hours from 8am to 10am at all primary health centres, sub-health centres, urban primary health centres, community health centres, sub-district hospitals, district hospitals, satellite hospitals, and medical colleges. “We will take out a statewide rally in Jaipur by taking mass leave on August 25,” said Narendra Shekhawat, a nurses’ leader at SMS Hospital.
People associated with nursing services from all over Rajasthan will participate in the rally, said Rajendra Rana, a nurses’ leader. TNN
