Jaipur: Demanding salaries and retirement benefits of past two months, roadways employees have now threatened to boycott workfor one hour from November 9 if the dues are not cleared till Wednesday evening. The employees union had submitted a memorandum to the state government M L Yadav, president of Rajasthan Roadways Employees Union, said, “Diwali is four days away and employees are not getting salaries, pension benefits, health benefits, condition of buses are so poor in the state and still we are working.We have raised the issue several times but there is no response from the government authorities. We have now decided to boycottwork for one hour from 1-2pm from Thursday onwards.” TNN

The company plans to customize its hybrid work policy based on local legislation and agreements.
Jammu & Kashmir prohibits government employees from strikes, protests
The authorities in Jammu & Kashmir have issued an order prohibiting employees from participating in demonstrations and strikes. The order warns of severe consequences for those found participating in such protests. Reasons for strikes include delayed salary payments and administrative matters. The order cites recent instances of employees resorting to demonstrations to press for their demands. The order invokes a rule that states government employees should not engage in or support any form of strike related to their service or the service of fellow employees.
