World Cup: Cm Inaugurates Constitution Club Of Raj, To Open Gandhi Vatika Today | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday inaugurated the Constitution Club of Rajasthan. Although the building is proposed to have four storeys, the CM inaugurated the project after completion of two storeys.
On Saturday, Gehlot is all set to inaugurate another prized project – the Gandhi Vatika inside the Central Park along with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
“We have prepared this club on the lines of the Constitution Club of India. I am happy that we first constructed a Housing Complex for the MLA and now a Constitution Club for the lawmakers of the state,” said chief minister Ashok Gehlot.
An architect was apponted to prepare the design/concept of the construction of the club which was presented before the Cabinet Sub-Committee under the chairmanship of the Honorable Speaker of the Legislative Assembly on November 2, 2021.
Gehlot had announced the construction of the Constitution Club during his budget speech of 2021-22.
The project has come up on 4,950 sq ft land located on the eastern side of Vidhayak Nagar. The project encompasses tennis court, indoor games, cafeteria, restaurant, swimming pool, auditorium, meeting and conference halls and guest rooms.

DC: Uphold values of Constitution
Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan MP emphasized the responsibility of citizens to protect the values of the Indian Constitution during an event celebrating the International Day of Democracy. He highlighted the importance of respecting and following the Constitution in order to build a strong nation. The event included the reading of the Constitution’s Preamble and an interaction with students on democracy and citizens’ rights and duties. The Karnataka government also organized a large event where millions of people read the Constitution’s preamble, earning a place in the World Book of Records. Additionally, plans are underway to launch children’s constitutional clubs across the state to promote constitutional values and understanding. A professor at the University of Mysuru highlighted the relevance of the Constitution in addressing current issues and called on the youth to lead the nation’s future.
