World Cup: Rghs: Beneficiaries Can’t Give Cashless Treatment To In-laws | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Under the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS), beneficiaries are not allowed to provide cashless treatment to fathers-in-laws and mothers-in-laws.
In the past few months, the state government has acted against such government employees who ‘misused’ the RGHS by getting their in-laws treated under the scheme. Hundreds of cards have been blocked by RGHS officials against such offenders.
“In-laws are not allowed under RGHS for treatment. The government has identified beneficiaries who have got their in-laws treated under the scheme by presenting them as their mothers and fathers. We have identified such offenders and blocked their cards,” said one of the state government officials looking after RGHS implementation. The state government has imposed a penalty on them and demanded repayment of the bills to the state government along with a penalty as recovery.
